Apple roses with apricot and cinnamon

What you need:

  • 2 apples

  • Juice from ½ a lemon

  • 2 tbsp apricot jam

  • 1 roll of puff pastry

  • 1 tbsp of cinnamon

How to make it:

  • Half the apples and remove kernels

  • Slice the apples in very thin slices on mandolin iron

  • Let the slices soak in lemon juice for 3 minutes

  • Mix 1 tbsp water into the apricot jam

  • Put apple slices into a sieve to drain from lemon juice

  • Roll out the puff pastry

  • Cut the pastry into 6 strips each 8cm wide

  • Brush the strips with apricot jam

  • Place apple slices all along the one half part og the dough and that the round end of the apple slice is outside the pastry

  • drizzle with cinnamon

  • Fold the other pastry half part over the apple slices

  • Roll it that you have like a rose

  • Put them in muffin forms

  • bake in over at 190 degrees for approx. 45 min.
