Grilled tuna with spicy asian salad and Miso dip

What you need:

Grilled tuna:

  • 400-500g finest tuna

  • white sesame seeds

  • salt and pepper

Salad

  • Daikon (China radishes)

  • spring onions

  • mango

  • avocado

  • coriander

  • little gems salad

Salad dressing:

  • 1 red chili, deseeded

  • 1 bunch coriander

  • 1 tsp. cane sugar

  • 1 lime (juice only)

  • 1/2 dl sesame oil

  • salt and pepper

Mix all ingredients

 

Miso dressing:

  • 1 red chilli

  • 1/4 dl of Sesame oil

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

  • 2 tablespoons dark misopasta

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon black sesame

  • 1 teaspoon white sesame

  • 1 teaspoon finely grated ginger

Mix all ingredients

Preparing:

Tuna

  • The tuna should be no more than 5cm in diameter.

  • Wipe it dry in kitchen paper and brush with olive oil

  • Season with salt and pepper

  • Cover it entirely in whits sesame seeds

  • Grill on a very hot grill or grill pan for 1 min. on each side

  • Put aside

Salat

  • Slice the Daikon finely in julienne

  • Cut the salad leaves into strips

  • Chop the spring onions, mango and avocado and coriander

  • Pour over the salad dressing

Serve on a large plate with the tuna cut into 1 cm thick slices and the Miso dip beside.
