Gyoza with chicken, ginger, chili, coriander and spring onions
What you need:
400g minced chicken
1 red chili
1 handful fresh coriander
1-2 spring onions
2 cm ginger
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
salt and pepper
gyoza dough ( get them in speciality stores )
chopped spring onions
Chop the ginger and chilli very finely.
Chop the spring onion.
Mix the minced chicken meat with the chopped fresh coriander and oyster sauce.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add approx. 1 tablespoon meat mixture on each a gyaza dough piece.
With a finger, brush edges with cold water and fold
Press the dough batter and fold the rim like wrinkles.
Fry the Gyoza over low heat in sesame oil.
Once they have a little color on bottom, add 1/2 dl water.
Cover and allow to steam on till all the water has evaporated
Serve immediately with soy sauce dip.
