Gyoza with shrimps and sweet and sour sauce
What you need:
300g fresh shrimps ( peeled and deveined)
1 red chili
1 handful fresh coriander
1 spring onion
2 cm ginger
1 tablespoons oyster sauce
salt and pepper
gyoza dough ( get them in speciality stores )
sweet and sour sauce
In a food mixer...
Add spring onion
Add oyster sauce
Add a little lemon juice and some of the zest
Season with salt and pepper.
Give it a mix until you have an even mixture
Add approx. 1 tablespoon shrimp mixture on each a gyaza dough piece.
With a finger, brush edges with cold water and fold
Press the dough batter and fold the rim like wrinkles.
Fry the Gyoza over low heat in sesame oil.
Once they have a little color on bottom, add 1/2 dl water.
Cover and allow to steam on till all the water has evaporated
Serve immediately with sweet and sour sauce dip and a little salad
