Humus with beetroot

What you need:

  • 150 g baked beetroot

  • 225 g of soaked chick peas

  • 2 tbsp Tahin

  • 6 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 1 dl. olive oil

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • salt and pepper

How to make it:

Scrub the beetroots and put in a dish of coarse salt. Bake them for approx. 45 minutes at 200 degrees. Let them cool down and peel them. The cooked chickpeas (which have been soaked overnight and cooked), tahin, lemon juice, garlic and olive oil are blended into a smooth mixture. Adjusts if necessary. with a little more oil or lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
