Lumpfish caviar on blinis

What you need:

  • 3.5 dl milk

  • 15 g yeast

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 dl buckwheat flour

  • 2 cups flour

  • butter for frying


  • 1 red onion

  • 1 lime

  • 2 dl sour cream 18%

  • 1 bunch dill

  • salt and pepper

How to make it:

 Warm up the milk in a saucepan and get a bit of it up in a bowl. Mix yeast into the milk. Add the remaining milk, eggs, salt, wheat flour and buckwheat flour and whisk
completely smooth dough.
Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
Melt the butter in a hot pan, and fry the small thick pancakes.
Add chopped dill sour cream and season with a little lime juice, salt and pepper.
Chop the onion finely.
Seve lumpfish caviar with blinis, dill cream, chopped onions and small lime wedges.
