What you need:

  • 3 dl water

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  • 25 grams of yeast

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 large teaspoon of cane sugar

  • 150 grams of whole grain flour

  • 250 grams of wheat flour

How to make it:

Mix water, yeast, cane sugar and salt together and add flour and oil. Knead well. Let the dough raise to double for approx. 1 hour. Slice the dough intro pieces and form it for buns. Repeat the rise for another approx. 30 minutes. Form now into flat pita bread pieces of approx. 1-2cm thickness. In mean time, the oven must be preheated to 250 degrees. The baking sheet must also be preheated. Place the pita bread for approx. 1 minute on one side or until they pop up. Turn them and bake them for another 3-4 minutes.
