Pizza with sardines, garlic oil, sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, olives and padron peppers

Pizza with sardines, garlic oil, sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, olives and padron peppers

What you need:

  • 2 tins of premium sardines

  • 1 glass of artichoke hearts

  • 1 glass of sun-dried tomatoes in oil

  • black olives

  • 1 red onion

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • 4 padron peppers

  • olive oil

Dough:

  • 300 grams 00 flour

  • 300 grams normal flour 

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 1 1/2 tsp dry yeast 

  • 3 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil 

  • 4 dl lukewarm tap water

 

Method:

  • Take the bowl of your kitchen machine and pour in all ingredients.

  • With the dough hook attached let the machine knead thoroughly for 10 minutes.

  • The dough is useable after it has rested and risen for 2 hours but ideally let is rise in a air tight box for 1 hour in room temp. and for 12 hours in your fridge.

Topping:

  • Heat the oven on max temperature

  • Create a mixture of olive oil, crushed garlic and finely chopped red onions

  • Add to the mixture, sliced peppers and sliced olives

  • Create the pizza bottom top desired size

  • Top with the oil mixture evenly over the entire surface

  • Add quarters of artichoke hearts

  • Add bits of sun dried tomatoes

  • Add sardines

  • Bake in the oven on a baking stone or simply in the oven dish under max temperature until golden brown
