Ruhbarb crumble

Ruhbarb crumble

What you need:

  • 1 kg rhubarb

  • 1/2 teaspoon of licorice powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger

  • 150 g brown sugar

  • 1 dl apple juice

  • 1 bar of vanilla

Crumble topping:

  • 150 g almond flour

  • 150 g cane sugar

  • 150 g butter

  • 150 g oatmeal


  • Serve it with Ice cream or creme fraiche

  • Crumble almond flour, cane sugar, butter and oatmeal together until the dough is similar to breadcrumbs.

  • Clean the rhubarb and cut them into pieces of approx. 1-2 cm.

  • Mix the rhubarb with sugar, licorice powder, stewed ginger, vanilla kernel and apple juice.

  • Bring it all in a fireproof dish and top with the crumble dough on the rhubarb.

  • Put it in a 180 degree hot oven for approx. 45 minutes.

  • The crumble shall get golden brown

  • Serve it with ice cream or creme fraiche.
