Venus mussels with Chorizo sausage, garlic and chili
A perfect finger food dish finished in 15 minutes.
What you need:
1 kg of Venus mussels (clams)
160g of spicy Chorizo sausage
2 cloves garlic
Clean the mussels and discard any crushed ones
Finely chop the shallot, garlic
Slice the Chorizo sausage and cut the slices in halves
Fry the shallot, garlic, some chilis flakes and the chorizo sausages in olive oil on medium high temperature (use a frying pan as big in diameter as possible)
After 5 min. add the mussels. Make sure they are mostly in a single layer.
Put a lid on
Let the mussels cook for 3-4 minutes. (stir carefully one or two times to let the mussels open up)
Serve immediately directly from the frying pan with good bread and good white wine
No cutlery is allowed for eating this dish :)
